  Whereabout in Canada is your restaurant based? In addition to knowing the city and province, it would be helpful if you told us if the restaurant is based in an urban, rural, or suburban setting. From the menu items you’ve described, and the approach you’ve taken in using seasonal themes, it appears that the restaurant is situated in a cosmopolitan part of Canada. Am I right?
  
  The menu requirements you’ve described in the Contest Brief should actually be the following:
  
  * Hors D’Oeuvre
  * Soup
  * Salad
  * Appetizer
  * Entree
  * Dessert
  * Palate Cleanser (Alcoholic / Non-Alcoholic)

     Do you only need a theme and menu suggestions for each course? Or, do you expect us to try and sell you on each idea with product descriptions and copywriting? And, if a contest entry meets or exceeds your expectations, will you award it? If so, do you plan on keeping your contest open until the deadline expires? Or, will you award an entry and close your contest as soon as you see something that you like?

     The restaurant is in a small town in Ontario. All portions are usually between 1 and 5 bites. The theme should be for the whole menu. If you look at my previous message, I posted one of our last tasting menus. I will award the contest prior to the deadline if it meets my expectations.

  I am not looking for any graphic design. I am looking for an actual menu that has a theme... and is a 7 course tasting menu. As for costing, I don't expect you to know exact prices, but just to keep costs to around $10...

  Contest Holder, I'm likewise unclear on your request and second Lisa's question.
  
  Are you asking Freelancers to design the actual menu items, from scratch, and set pricing for the items we create?
  
  Or do you want us to create a graphic design and menu layout (as Lisa stated) for existing menu items you have already designed?
  
  If it's the latter (and you want us to design a layout to contain your text), all menu items and prices should be included in the description/materials for the contest. This should include the menu you have posted here in the Clarification Board.

     I could be wrong, but the recommended skills are:
     
     {Content Writing, Copywriting, Internet Research, Research, Research Writing}
     
     There’s no mention of graphic design in the Contest Brief or Public Clarification Board, and it appears that an example (Fruits & Berries Tasting) of what’s expected has already been provided.
     
     The contest holder actually made a request regarding menu item (food) cost; not (food) pricing; the two aren’t the same.
