Fulling Mill Ltd (www.fullingmill.co.uk) is looking for a creative partner to help them produce a master Fly Box design, to be rolled out across a number of single fastening, hinged, plastic fly boxes for global release in 2020/21.
To be effective, this new design, when produced in a number of formats will ideally replace our entire range of 12x Single Fastening, Hinged Boxes. See www.fullingmill.co.uk for more information on this.

As things stand, we envisage the design being rolled out across various sizes of box: (*Measurements are for illustrative purposes only)

Pocket Slim Split Foam (10x8x1.9cm)
Pocket Deep Split Foam (10x8x2.8cm)
Pocket Deep 6 Compartments (10x8x2.8cm)
Standard Slim Slit Foam (19x11x1.9cm)
Standard Deep Slit Foam (19x11x2.8cm)
Standard Deep 12 Compartments (19x11x2.8cm)
Large Slim Slit Foam (28x201.9cm)

The following design considerations are important to us;

We would like to use high quality, recycled plastics where possible.
We would like the Fulling Mill Logo to be incorporated into the moulding process rather than affixed to the box, post production.
We would like to use the highest quality foam throughout and where possible, offer mobile partition dividers on the compartment boxes.
We need these boxes to be not only durable and high quality but affordable too.

Tooling. Fulling Mill will invest in and own the tooling involved with the bespoke lid of these designs, but is happy to work with existing box base units where appropriate. For example, we would be happy to design and produce 3 unique lid designs which would then be matched to seven existing base moulds to give us our full range. This would keep tooling costs to a minimum whilst protecting the overall design of the range and our brand.

Design. Fulling Mill will own the design and the tooling.

At this stage we are looking for an individual with the creative ability and knowledge to produce a workable design / style for us to take forward. We can then progress this into CAD and produce within the UK, using a UK manufacturer.

The aim of this contest is to find the right look / style for our new range of boxes which we will then take forward.
