A logo + a logotype is preferred. In the logotype, a) “Sigma” could be bolder and/or bigger comparing to “Analytical Services”, or b) “Sigma Analytical” could be bolder and/or bigger comparing to “Services”, or c) you could just use “Sigma Analytical” and not have “Services” in the logotype at all.
You might also consider and use the letter Sigma (from the Greek alphabet, capital or small, but capital sigma is preferable) in your designs.

Color:
Preferably a shade of green, but feel free to try other colors too if you found it works really better than green.

Characteristic:
Classic, professional and scientific.
