Looking to start a clothing company/brand (hoodies, tshirts and hats to start) our proposed brand name is Rice Lake Co. and we would like to come up with a main logo that is unique but also simple enough to go on clothing nicely. The brand will have a cottage country/rustic theme as Rice Lake Ontario is a fishing/boating/camping area. We have been playing around with the idea of putting in the outline/map of the lake into the logo or something simpler with water and a rice plant (from the lakes history of growing rice). Open to other ideas having to do with lake living that are somewhat unique (we have seen the crossed canoe paddle logo and want to get a little more unique so we aren't copying other lake companies) . We are thinking about earthy tones as a colour scheme ie: hunter green or olive green, burgundy, tan/beige, dusty pink colours, mustard, burnt orange, with black or white print. This being said the logo might be better off in white or black but i wanted to give extra info for ideas. I will attach the map and our attempt at ideas.
