@ulahts agreed. That will always happen in a competition the quantity usually over powers the quality, remember unfortunately some people actually design without a concept. However a well known and great designer said to me once "if you have no reason for putting an element on your design then don't put it there", meaning if you are asked why about your design or about any part of the design you should be able to say this is why I used this element.
Granted you do not owe an explanation to anyone in creating art, however in the business world such as logos you do have to explain your work as the client wants to know what image you're presenting of them by doing a design.

This client will need another 100 years or more to see the difference and judge differently, avoiding the obvious...

The rejection is no different from doing an actual job, if the client isn't happy then you just have to do something else until they are or you don't bother doing the job. I did quite a bit of logos lol....I think i only got stars 3 times or 2 times. It's your job as designers to observe the direction. It's a little frustrating but think of it as work with a deadline and not so much a contest.

After all Freelancer.com is a bidding site....

Maybe some clarification would be better from you regarding the logo and what you want emphasized in the image.
1 Are you interested in having an icon made out of the company intitials, 9 or any other specific elements?
2 Would you like to have a wordmark logo?
3 Do you have any special requirements about typeface: serif, nonserif, slab serif, mdern, classic ...etc?
4 On a scale from 1 to 5, how would you place a logo that contains a custom typeface?

Guys don't look at the star rating as an indication of what we want. to us the ratings are simply because it's a point for looking at a style and keeping it in the race but not an indication of a near winner.

red, one by one has been rejected because it's a competition to deliver something original and within the brief. At the end only one brand logo will go through and not 250.

We really understand how hard it is for you to design, but you can't imagine how hard this is for us to look at such great work and have to turn it down because of the available choices and "our brief".

I think that some of you have done amazing work and I don't want you to take it personally. I guess at the end the 8 logos that remain will go to a poll between our colleagues and clients, as we won't know what to choose and may be guided by personal agendas rather than the marketability of the logo itself.

I hope this explains where we stand when selecting the logo. Keep up the good work guys, I think you've done an amazing job so far!

Hello, I was wondering, even though the spelling is nin9, it should be pronounced as nine right? so i think it is best if it looks closer to nine rather than just simply nin9 because when most people looking at it for the first time they would actually say nin nine rather than nine
