...have code (Arduino sketch) that works to drive the Pololu Driver as required but current NEMA17 motor is not strong enough and it gets stuck, misses steps and then looses reference to zero position. Adding the encoder is my main challenge, just don't have the time to figure it out, test and implement. I also had a problem with voltage back feeding to USB on my laptop when Arduino was powered by 12v supply and being plugged into USB connection. Adding the encoder will probably change the code in the Arduino sketch as well, likely need a little help with that.
