Hello, i have purchased 4tb 4kn SAS drives (Native 4kn) from ebay. I now put 4x 4TB into a HP Proliant DL360 gen9 with a HP P440ar raid controller All good the controller is running in HBA Mode, i can choose them in Centos installer and install OS on them. However after reboot the server doesnt want to boot the OS/CentOS.... "no bootable device found" UEFI mode and all is setup correctly. I have tried everything. Now that this is the DL360 gen9 with 4x LFF Hot swap and 2x sff internal, cant i just add 1x 512GB SSD here and install the OS there? Like this; The 512GB SSD would run on the internal plane on the B140i integrated raid controller the 4x4TB SAS 4kn on the HP p440ar (altough this will be in HBA mode) OS will be on the 512GB SSD to boot from.
