I already have a program [url removed, login to view] in place which monitors file system activity, created by one of our freelancers here. I am looking to enhance it a little better.

Current Architecture:-

1) Windows application that check for file activity in current directory if there are no files it will check the atchive directory for the last file processed and write that information to log. The .NET code will then read of that file and send an email if the last processed file is more than one hour and there no files in the current directory. That information is also displayed in the website

Proposed Architecture:-

In addition to that, I want to add these additional capabilities

1) Add another tab to the webpage that show like a status ,Check the current directory for the minimum timestamp of the file in the directory and check the data directory for maximum timestamp of the file in the directory and show the difference this is to show the time delay in processing the files. i want this to be applicable for multiple directories

2) Add another tab to show metrics, I have a table with some fields. I will share the table structure . Basically I want to show throughput for the number of data processed for each region for different time frames (1 hr,24 hr,72 hr,1week , 2week as so on) in a line chart

That webpage should have drop down that we can select the region and the time frame we want to show the chart for and red line to show the threshold and below the chart it should also show the number of rows processed every half hour. All the information on the data will be in a table.
