We are Dewesoft, measurement systems company with HQ in Slovenia and subsidiaries in Austria, Germany, UK, Sweden, France, Russia, Korea, Japan, China and US ([login to view URL]). We are looking for a long-term cooperation developer or team, experienced in OpenStreetMap and c++ development. Goal of the project is to develop custom visual control, which will show GPS data (position and track) on top of map layer for a off-line use. OpenStreetMap (OSM) will be used for map layer, which needs to be custom drawn from map tiles. Implementation with embedding web browser can not be used, since dll requires that graphics is drawn on some specific window (device context). User position will be drawn as "arrow" on the map and track will be shown. Details about the projects can be found in the attachment.

Hello, As you may see from my previous Freelancer feedback I can do (among other things) some good work on Windows using its native graphics interface (Both with and without Microsoft Foundation Classes). I have read your specification contained in the attached files, and I would have no problem with your Coding Standards. Instead I could not be available for daily updates. This, as well as Skype contact I would do only if really needed (if we could not manage to work without them). I have no previous experience with OpenStreetMap but I think I could manage it. If you contact me I could start doing some preliminary work on your project even before you award the project to me, so you would see how I work an then decide. Regards Ciro
