In the process I have implemented lot of automation / modelling as well as dashboards for Management Reporting similar to what you are expecting. Hi there, Your project sounds interesting and I think I would be a great fit - I have over 13 years of corporate experience working in Excel creating advanced automated dashboards and reports and I'd love the opportunity to take a look at your existing dashboard files to get a better understanding of the specific requirements you have listed for each file. I have worked with many Excel data sets, in most cases very large ones (500,000+rows) so have no problems with working with large datasets if need be. I enjoy creating complex algorithms using Excel formulas to extract meaningful conclusions from Excel data which would be useful in the automation you require for the enhancements in dashboard #1. Also - creating charts and graphical representations of data in Excel is one of my favorite things to do. Initially I would look to keep #1 in Excel - however would love to hear all of the possible queries that you might want implemented and I can see if it's achievable in Excel. Regarding Dashboard #2 - there are some date sliders that can be implemented in pivot charts that might solve for the date range requirements when viewing the KPI's. Hi, I am a native Australian finance professional (Melbourne based) with over 15 years experience preparing dashboards and reporting. I have built dashboards for many different purposes, including financial reporting, sales and commission reporting and customer reporting. I have experience in both Excel and Access. I can help with your dashboards. I would propose to complete your 2 dashboards by firstly understanding how they currently work. I would then look to automate the first dashboard. Can I please ask what version of Excel & Access you are using? This will determine the method for automating them. I believe that you can probably complete the dashboard in Excel and I could set up pivot tables so that you could run other queries on your data. However, I would review your data first to determine if this is the best method. For your second dashboard, I would again look at how it is currently functioning. I would then look to update the presentation. I would often try and match the colours I use to a company logo, if that worked for you? In order to select date ranges, I may need to set up another formula in your database to calculate a month - but I would also automate this formulation.
