I am looking for a freelancer to help me with my project. The skills required are Excel/VBA, Quickbooks SDK (QBFC or QBXml). I am happy to pay a fixed priced and my budget is up to $250 CAD. I need a working Excel / VBA project which will create an efficient User Defined Function, that will be passed 2 input strings (Account number, Asat Date) that will query Quickbooks to obtain the balance for the specified account asat the specified date. The "solutions" proposed previously used the QODBC driver to import a stored procedure/report and then filter the report using the account number. While this works for one-off balances, if this function is used multiple times this becomes exponentially too slow. I would like a module which sets up the connection using QBFC or QBXml, and includes the public function that can be used in a spreadsheet.

Using QODBC this would be easy as we simply send the query to the connection built over QODBC. I have questions: - what excel version you are using? - what quickbooks version you are using? - could you send me the preferred function names you will set for this UDF? Thank you
