We are looking for a independent and virtual CFO role, catering to our company’s financial discipline needs. The work to be done in New Zealand working hours. There are multiple small companies grouped together Scope of Work: Accounting Review: • Ensuring all accounting is made as per the applicable AS • Error checks • Ensuring all required reports are generated from the accounting software (AR/ AP/ Cost analysis/ profitability/ comparisons – MoM/QoQ/YoY) • Coordination with the team on daily or weekly basis (with calls/ group chats) Corporate Finance Support: Budgeting and Forecasting: • Preparation of budgets • Tracking the monthly / quarterly performances • Creating effective trendlines Periodic Finance health check: • Efficacy of existing accounting systems • Evaluating internal controls and • Highlighting early signs of any troubles Working Capital Management • Analysis of AR & AP cycles and identifying improvisations • Building cash flow forecast and monitories mechanism • Effective utilization of credit facilities • Better terms with suppliers and customers • Enhancing inventory management • Timely debtors and creditors reconciliations Effective Cost Management • Better expenses management tools • Establishing standard costs tool and understanding variances • Periodic review of the product cost structures • Better understanding of break-even scenarios Audit Support • Understanding audit comments and remediation • Coordination with auditors Management Discussion • Review and discussion of monthly reports (at a pre-defined intervals) • Explaining/ answering queries
