Experienced Independent Bookeeper / Retired Accountant

Firstly, I need someone to submit my Tax return for 2016-2017. However, I would like for that person to look over and potentially help me set up a good accounting system. I am about to VAT register so need a very good system. I'm not great with software and do a lot on paper normally. I'm not sure if it is still feasible to carry on like this. My last 3 tax returns and VAT returns (I was registered a few years ago) were submitted by an accountant. Ultimately I want to be in a position of doing my own bookeeping (well!) but have an ongoing relationship with a bookeeper to submit my returns. And at a later date take over the bookeeping. I would also like some financial advice in relation to my business set up and potential changes that could save money. For the system set up i would really like someone to be working in the same space as myself. I have a fantastic light room with huge table for you to work in, in privacy and I will be next door when required. Or I can come to you. I am in Honor Oak Park, 1 minute from the train station. As I would ultimately like this to be an on-going relationship I am happy to have a quick chat via video skype. I'd like someone I am comfortable with and vice versa. Will consider paying more for a retired accountant. I work as a designer/retailer (currently all online and mostly through Not On The High Street)
