Set up Amazon AWS server for HIPAA compliance

Hi I have 8+ years' experience on managing Linux servers (Debian & CentOS flavour). I have been working with AWS (Amazon Web Services) products for the past 4.5 years. I have deployed around 300 + web and mobile applications on different Dedicated Virtual servers. I have also handled around 90 + Migrations to AWS alone. I have worked on both LAMP stack as well on Java + tomcat as well. I can bring up the HIPAA complaint architecture as per HIPAA standards. I would require at least 5-8 working days to complete the same including testing . I will be sharing a complete technical documentation after the task on each AWS service we use which can be used for future change management. As this is not a simple task and requires continues effort and testing of the same in pipeline, hence the project fee from my end is higher than who have bid on the project. I will provide future technical support assistance on the project as continues maintenance of the infrastructure I have few clients with whom I already provide technical support service for the AWS based infrastructure service. The same may vary from the $500/month to $1000/month based on the level of support you choose from . I am an expert in AWS services. I have worked with ec2, s3, cloud front, elastcbeanstalk, vpc, RDS, dynamodb,cloud watch, SES, Elasticache I would also need 50% of milestone created with the beginning of the project and released when we are 50% done ( after you verify the same) . continues...

Hi Here's a brief description based on the HIPAA Standards as far as the overall system architechture is concerned. 1. Scaling: Using Auto-scaling groups and configurations. 2. AWS RDS will be used for MYSQL instance. 3. For MySQL and Application backup a separate EC2 instance (compute intensive) will encrypt and then transfer those data to S3 with encryption as well. 4. Data transfer to and forth S3 and EC2 will be encrypted as well. 5. Activity logging: Depends upon the application itself, although AWS provides API to customize the app so that it stores all the logging info into S3. I'll need further info regarding the development of the app so that I can work along with the developer, task like activity logging will require collaborative work. And as far as the pricing is concerned AWS provides you with a calculator so that you can predict your monthly bill. Although I'll need more info so that I can help you estimate the monthly cost.
