The plan is to focus on building our family law legal services (based in Sydney. NSW) in a different way by developing an online presence. I want to set up a face book page that links to a new landing page and our current website. The facebook page is to contain a short promotional animation film/video (my guess is somewhere between 15-30 seconds max) and a blog. The blog will operate as a series of letters (think column 8 with a twist) so posts will be limited to 100 words or so. I will respond. My target audience is smart, savvy, capable women caught in the unfamiliar terrain of a relationship breakdown. The key is humour. The idea- paleolithic landscape at dusk. Woman sprints for the safety of her cave (cave/house) across a bare landscape chased by a sabre tooth tiger. She just makes it, the house slams shut. Dusk turns to dark. Close up to the windows. (All windows have blinds). The blind does up to a scene where she is arguing with her partner. She loses it and decks him with a pan/bone etc. She looks up in bewilderment. The caption..."oops... call "X" family law solutions (brand name of the new enterprise) powered by ... insert name of the existing business with links etc. I plan to have a series of these videos using the window as the device to enter a new landscape/ a new idea/ a live webinar etc. In closing a device I am thinking of to celebrate success/solving a problem etc. is a primitive scales of justice at the bottom of the page. Our protagionist steps on one side- its a elevator- tugs the cord and rises (with a smile.) It's a pretty idiosyncrastic vision and not what you would normally expect from a lawyer so I need the right match. I am aware it may fail completely but I want to give it a go.
