Training Video

Hey Couriers By Demand, First off, allow me to introduce ourselves. My name is Max and I'm a Sydney based video producer with over ten years of experience working on everything from tutorial videos to high end television commercials. Bronte my colleague is an animation wizard, she creates 3D characters, engaging animation and can write brilliant copy for any type of project. We have a unique vision to solve your problem of creating a training program video to show your new staff the ropes. We would like to film on site with some of the Couriers By Demand staff and trucks, show some 'what to do's' and 'what not to do's' with a few humourous anecdotes. We will strive for a very high level of production value but make some humourous reference to old school VHS training videos. Think back to fast food restaurant training tapes. Just a little spice on the side as requested. We would also like to integrate animation into the videos as well to make them more visually dynamic and engaging because the most important part of this video is your staff absorbing this material. We see you already have a mascot created in 3D. We can use this, or recreate in either 2D or 3D to be animated to help with the tutorial process. Hello, It sounds like you have a great company and I would love to help you make sure this is reflected in your staff. I am originally from Sydney and currently based in Brisbane, but travel down to Sydney often for work and to visit family, so am available for meetings and sessions in person. In terms of my experience in training and design, I have implemented training courses in the workplace for multiple employers, and am about to begin an Associate Lecturer position at QUT. In addition, I have recently come second place in a NASA contest to design a 5-day training course for the implementation of the Interplanetary Overlay Network in space (basically space-internet). This involved learning a large amount of very technical details and breaking them down into a digestible format. In addition to this, I also won first place for them in creating a storyboard explaining how NASA uses RFID tagging on the International Space Station. I am a big believer in interactive learning, so have innovative ideas for drawing interactivity out of a non-face-to-face learning environment such as video-based training. I will be able to implement basic animation for each of the module, or, alternatively, am able to produce non-animated videos for real-life demonstration purposes. I'm a freelance screenwriter and animation producer based in NSW. I'd be very interested to see an example of the style of interactive video that you would like, to confirm a production schedule. Then write a script plus lock in a storyboard before beginning production.
