I have had a quick look over what you want and I will give you a free heads up. YOU WILL NOT FIND WHAT YOU WANT HERE. First of - last year I re-engineered the electro-coagulation system (ECS) for the new Kerrobert (SK) Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP). The ECS was supplied from Australia and the Australian company screwed up and I had to fix it for them. SO YES - I have done WWTPs including one in Canada. And yes I got a hands on lesson in Canadian Electrical Standards. That is something you MUST include in this - If they have not worked with Canadian Standards DON'T USE THEM. I have done this sort of "it must be done this way" work before for these sorts of clients. I have worked for companies like BHP and who have mines in Canada and other similar "FUSSY" clients. You have to realize upfront that you MUST expect grief from this type of client. These people have offices full of people incapable of solving any problem but they are all extremely good at breaking companies and the people who work for them. These people have extremely high opinions of themselves which comes from them having control of massive lumps of other peoples cash. What you need for the drafting are a couple of guys who have ALREADY DONE this sort of work and done lots of it. I don't know how much I can help you from Australia. I am very interested in offering my skills for your project. I am a native English speaker, and located in a convenient time zone for easy communication. I have over 10 years of experience in electrical drafting which is predominantly with industrial controls designs, but I have also been involved in a broad range of other schematic drafting projects. I have strong skills in Eplan (Eplan 5 and P8 Electric), Ruplan and Autocad, but I have also had to use various other drafting software packages and proved that I can quickly adapt to different systems. My work experience has been with a broad range of multi-national corporate end customers which has meant reading, understanding and applying their various standards and requirements. Some of these included rigorous sign-off processes for final approval of our documentation. I have read through the Drafting Standards that are attached to this project proposal. Most of the specification deals with documentation control, and technical drawing specification like layers and so on rather than the drafting style. The symbol Drawings (S-3000), EIC Standards (S-3001), and Example Drawings (S-3002) are not attached to your project but they will certainly be required. Some questions: What CAD software will be used for this project, and who will be responsible for licencing the appropriate software?
