Vertical distance to planar surface

I am looking to hire a freelancer to create an [login to view URL] plugin <Penetration>. The model will have many blocks and a few planar surfaces. The blocks will belong to common layers i.e. Tree, House or Post, and there could be more than one block per layer. However each surface will have its each unique layer i.e. Surface A or Surface B. Surfaces will be both "flat" and "angled", but always planar. The plugin will then calculate the vertical distance between the block's insertion point and the planer surface. Since the elevation of the surface may vary depending on the x,y coordinate, the plugin would need to calculate the surface's elevation for each iteration. Surfaces may be above each other i.e. Vertical distance from Tree (n) to Surface A = 19m & Tree (n) to Surface B = 38m. The calculated data should be outputted in two ways: 1 - An excel spreadsheet (named and directed via a pop up dialog box). Columns; Point ID (i.e. Tree), Point Easting, Point Northing, Point Elevation, Block Attribute(s) (if any), Surface Name, Surface Easting, Surface Northing, Surface Elevation, Vertical Distance. 2 - Add the vertical distance to a block attribute named "Penetration" for each corresponding block. In case of errors, I will need a second plugin <DeletePenetration> which will delete any block attributes (entirely) created by the above plugin. Good luck!
