Responsibilities: At least 5-7 years of experience in a similar capacity As a software engineer specialised in cloud enablement, you will work on the fundamental infrastructure components that Yara’s Farm & Field Data team build upon, such as data ingestion, data warehouse, data science services, API services that run on Docker and Kubernetes Empower Data Engineers, Data Scientists, API Developers and Software Engineers to deploy and run cloud native services by abstracting the infrastructure complexity Collaborate with other talented Dev Enablement and Infrastructure engineers within Yara IT in delivering platforms that are secure, efficient, mature, and highly available Build Data Engineering and Data Science workflows and promote them from Dev to QA to Prod Build and host API Services Build tooling to allow users to deploy Micro-services to production with a simple set of commands (Terraform) Profile: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field. Software Engineer who is an expert in Cloud Infrastructure and Architecture (AWS) Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS): Lambda, Amazon Redshift, Glue, EKS, Athena, API Gateway Programming experience with Unix/Shell scripting Hands-on experience with SQL and Python Hands-on experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow and DBT Strong problem-solving skills, research, and analytical thinking Poses solid troubleshooting skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment Preferable experience in Agriculture Technology domain Effective communication and presentation skills Experience of working with cross-geography teams The position is ideally situated in one of global hubs (Berlin, Sao Paulo, Varna, Bangalore, Singapore), but we can consider other locations for the right candidate.
