Hi. Thanks for such an opportunity. To get the enthalpy, the usual 4 input required are pressure, temperature, density and entropy. I believe this is what the PLC will transmit to the PC app, since effectively coolprop is perfect for determining and plotting the enthalpy. I propose a phased approach, where the 1st deliverable would be the PC app, with a simple web page, where the 4 input can be entered, after which the enthalpy would be computed - like a prototype. Next would be to interface with the PLC ; Fieldbus comes in various flavours, but if it is Ethernet based then a socket can be open between the PC and the PLC, for which there are various readily-available C++ libs. This would validate the communication with the PLC, thus the 2nd proototype. Then I'd merge both concepts such as to have an integrated app that can take the 4 inputs from the PLC and generate the enthalpy. Again, thanks for considering my involvement. Kind regards, Sacha.
