What will be used for datastorage? (SD, EEPROM)? Also, will you be able to make some small changes in Arduino's hardware? (Remove some components) That will decrease a current consumption from approx. 1..10 mA to 0,01..0,1 mA.

Hi, I have some experience with vibrating wire piezometer. I know Arduino must read output frequency from piezometer and determine what is frequency value. Also detect amplitude - what is time to decrease amplitude. Please specify what is manufacturer and model of your piezometer. Do you have technical description?
