I would like a program developed which carry out the following features:
1. The program should intercept the FileDeletion event on Windows OS and prompt the user to enter his preset password to authorise the FileDeletion event. If an incorrect password is supplied, the deletion event will be terminated by the system thus preserving the file.
2. The program will be intercepting the FileDeletion Event which means an enter-password prompt will pop-up when the user attempts to delete ANY KIND OF FILE on the system.
NB. This feature may or may not be included (The program should auto start itself should the user terminate it. This feature prevents unauthorised persons from killing the program on someone else's system without the owner's permission)
3. The program should also prompt the user to enter his preset password before uninstalling itself or uninstalling other installed programs. If the program asks for a password to proceed with the installation of a new software that will be great.
The password can be stored in the registry.
Do not mind with the UI, I will develop the UI myself and will handle User Password Security Issues.
*KEY TERMS: FileDeletion Event includes moving files to the Recycle Bin and deleting them FROM the recycle bin.
Feel free to ask for clarifications!
