Stock market – Day trading
Before the stock market opens anybody wanting to trade their positions will have a look at the US index called S&P 500. This could be seen as a weather forecast for the general and overall mood on the stock market. However, as we all know, the weather forecast may change constantly during the day. And just because it is raining in S&P 500, there could be many markets, which are feeling the sun. Always remember that their are many ways to skin a cat. You can choose to trade S&P 500, but there are also German indices or Indian. And behind the indices are a bunch of stocks, which can basically make your day. You need to find your edge and the way you want to win and live your life. An important concept for indices and stocks is what is called technical gaps. When price of the stock or index opens at a higher price than yesterday's price, this will leave an open gap in the chart, which will set the mood for the day. S&P 500 closed at 3120 on Friday. Generally these gaps on the S&P 500 tend to close within the first hour of trading or they don't get closed and one can expect the up move to continue.
