We are looking for a virtual assistant or a small team to help support our growing business. You MUST have the following skills; 1) Fluent written English 2) Excellent attention to detail and time management 3) PC with access to a fast and reliable online ISP 4) A happy, flexible, responsive and caring attitude to customers 5) Quick learner with a keen appetite for continuous learning 6) Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook It would be DESIRABLE (but not mandatory) if you also have; 1) Fluency in spoken English 2) Proficiency in other languages (written or spoken and to what degree) 3) A basic understanding of HTML, PHP, MySQL (training can be given) BASIC TASKS; 1) Administering projects for our clients on one of our web services (full training will be given) 2) Responding promptly to e-mails in a professional and courteous manner 3) General administration duties(diary, calendar and travel management together with some typing and basic spreadsheet skills) 4) Occasional internet research and marketing 5) A high degree of availability to be able to cover office hours in both USA and Europe 6) Possible (non-mandatory) Telephone support (only if very comfortable with spoken English) Please respond with the following details; 1)Respond fully to each of the items in this bid with full details of your ability and experience for each item 2)Full details of your education and work experience 3)Location 4)Hours that you would be available (use Greenwich UK time) 5)Suitable references 6)A bid for the first three months work based on 40 hours per month to provide us with a baseline for comparison purposes. We have had an extraordinary response to our application and we are in the process of selecting 5 people to take forward to the next stage. There are a couple of things that I would like to clarify with respect to the position; 1) We need you to confirm what hours you can be available between 0700 and 1900 UK time. If you cannot be available for at least six hours during this period it is unlikely that this post will work for you. (If you can be available during other hours please confirm this also) We do not expect you to work all this time but we need to understand your availability to be able to respond to e-mails and customer queries promptly. Do not worry too much if you cannot be available all the time, since we are hoping to eventually create a 24/7 coverage which will most probably involve at least two or even 3 people. 2) We need to know the minimum and maximum number of hours per week that you could commit to working with us. The actual hours worked can be very flexible as long as e-mails and queries can be dealt with promptly. We will provide training for all aspects of the job. Finally please make sure that you have carefully considered and posted your bid for the first three months work. We will of course pay you for any extra work, but by placing your bid you will be guaranteed a minimum fee for this project.
