Hello, and thank you for the opportunity to be considered!
There is something in the term "ghost writer," that has always held an appeal for me. The understanding that, only very seldom is the person doing the writing actually deceased, or even penning tales of hauntings, has done little to dispel the enchantment I felt, as a child, hearing the phrase. I imagined a translucent figure, in tattered garments, hunched over an impossibly old, mechanical typewriter, doggedly banging out pages of brilliant prose, in lovely, archaic language. These magical documents would then be left, rolled like a scroll, and signed (naturally) in blood, under a rotting log, by a creek, for some human to collect, and claim as his own. Alas for the loss of such innocent notions!
Despite the mundane reality of ghost writing, and the stark unromantic stage that is the world of the ebook, I hope that you will select me, at least, to learn the mysterious details of your project! If it forwards my chances at all, you should be aware that I will hear your voice in a New Zealand accent, in my mind, when reading any communication from you. Though I cannot produce such an accent, out loud, my imagination has no such difficulties. Your accent will be marvelous!
So, here's hoping! Cheers!
