Esp8266 or Esp32, both can be used as per your need. Please share the job more in detail. The project is feasible.

I'm very interested in this project. With more than 10 years of experience with C/C++ development, I think I'm more than qualified for the job. My Arduino related projects have mostly been around my home automation system. This includes using the ESP8266. The AWS connection would be something new to me, but I'm very experienced in similar things. If you are interested in me for the job, I am happy to discuss the project further and come with a more detailed proposal when I know more about the scope of the project.

As you want to register or communicate IoT devices (ESP32 or ESP8266) using AWE IoT services. For this project I will suggest you to use FreeRTOS AWS IoT service.
