Python script to crawl 5 finance websites

Hi there, There are hundreds of projects behind me and lot of them was to integrate and automate the script to the server so it scrapes and updates database after some period of time . We can make both,to run all 5 scripts localy and on a server/cloud . I am using all possible libraries in python,since i haven't checked sites I can't tell you exactly which one can we use to get this done . Hello! I prefer to do scraping work using the scrapy framework. Most of my work over the last couple of years has been webscraping, ranging from small one-page websites to scraping millions of products from global giant's websites like youtube, yellowpages, craigslist... I've deployed spiders both locally and on a few cloud-based platforms. For this project, since the number of pages is relatively small, the time needed to do the crawling is insignificant. As for the amount of actual coding it will take, that will depend on the structure of the websites, and I can see it ranging anywhere from 2 to 8 hours. I have been created 2-3 python crawler for 2 startups and I always prefer script instead of a framework. We can tweak the data according to our choice and no tension of the number of pages crawling.

Hi! I'm proficient in python web-scraping. I've created multiple projects with Python Scrapy. Most interesting project is probably scraping a collection of websites for their images. This included labeling those images so they can be injected into a machine learning algorithm. I also created the machine learning algorithm which was created using python and deployed in Google ML engine, so I also know how to deploy the script to be run in a cloud environment. I would expect this to take around 30 hours, probably less though, it's a very conservative estimate. I can do it to you in a week. Cheers!
