Draw marine regions on a map - international shipping experience helpful

I’m looking for someone with international shipping experience to draw marine regions out on a map. I have a list of groupings of names/abbreviations/acronyms of different regions. I need the regions for each of the names or groups of names to be drawn out on a map. This requires you to either be familiar with the name and therefore be able to define it yourself, or be able to research to a high level of confidence what area it should cover. I have a good web based software which will allow you to easily draw regions out on a map by placing pins around the region. There are around 140 regions to draw out. More background: In international shipping, the oceans are divided up into different regions. These regions are used, for example, to describe the rough location of a ship. An example would be 'Baltic' or 'East Med' (East Mediterranean) or sometimes acronyms such as ECSA (East, Central and South Africa). There isn't a standard set of Regions which everyone uses. Different people have different names and there are lots of different levels of granularity. For examples, some people may just use the Region 'Mediterranean' while others might divide it into 'East Med' and 'West Med'. There may also be abbreviations for example 'Mediterranean' and 'Med' define the same region.
