Ladder-logic programming - small sub-routine needed

Existing PLC ladder logic program on Click, with readout on EA9 panel from AutomationDirect needs to add a few lines for this purpose - I am expecting just a few lines of code: Objective: EA9 needs to log a set of 'text string labels' along with the one-second logging that is downloaded to the log file. The instrument data already logs, but with each log I need to capture what is being measured. This can be a simple 1 or 0 for each field, with the field being turned on or off using a pushbutton on the touch screen, and the data being recorded simply as the 1 or 0 for that field. Show me how, and I will program it into my existing ladder logic program. I can create a pen for that input (to enable logging the value), and just not show that pen on the read-out screen. Or you can suggest an alternative approach. Example (as imagined, but you can suggest alternative approach if better): Touch-screen button with text (top outlet): push to activate, push again to deactivate (or push a reset button next to it). -> Value 0 for de-active, value 1 for active, registered in PLC and sent to touch-screen for line graphing -> Pen function captures value during line graphing on the screen -> Logging enabled for all line graph pens, value 1 or 0 logged for each one-second read/log I use a spreadsheet to drop the raw log into, and the spreadsheet can use the 1 or 0 to fill in the text string: 'top outlet active' or 'top outlet not active' for each logged one-second data entry. I will pay $20, quick decision, need to already know/show how to do this.
