Seeking a motivated and confident Bookkeeper to support our growing team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills as well as the required technical attributes, and will possess the sophisticated character traits that will allow him/her to succeed in a fast-paced small business environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Prefer someone who is Bilingual
Communicate and meet with clients to discuss any of their financial needs.
Processing high volume of regular AR & AP transactions.
Bank and credit card reconciliations.
General ledger reconciliation and maintenance.
General bookkeeping procedures including journal and job entries.
Perform Payroll at end of week
Any other duties assigned by the President and CFO
Qualifications and Skills
Excellent English communication skills - both written and verbal
Must have strong interpersonal skills and understand the importance of confidentiality
Solid understanding of all bookkeeping procedures with a minimum of 2 years experience
Mid-level proficiency in QuickBooks
Computer literacy in Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to easily shift focus depending on client needs Ability to work independently and pro-actively
Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment with special attention to detail
A desire to do it correctly the first time and be a team player with a "How can I help" attitude.
