Existing application : Handles advertisement booking transactions including Invoices and Payments.
Does not handle : Accounting related functions.
Data model in the existing application :
1. Types of transaction data :
a. Invoices
b. Payments
2. "Customers" have "Types", "Regions", "Branches" etc.,
3. "Advertisement" have "Advertisement Type" , "Classification " etc.,
We need a design solution from an experienced Accounting consultant with technical background who could provide us with the following :
1. What tables to be created to fulfill the Accounting report requirements. ( Example reports attached )
2. Which transaction data, including calculations, should be posted into these tables
3. After posting, Should support filters on any combination of
a. Transaction data
b. Customers
c. Advertisement
The Accounting design should support direct access to the following : ( Presently these are not readily available in the DB )
1. Opening balance on start of any month
2. Billing in the month / Week
3. Payments in the month / Week
With the above we should be able to generate reports like the samples attached.
