Junior E-commerce Executive

Roles and responsibility: • Ensure all clients are successfully on-boarded on time on the platforms (set up stores, coordinate with businesses and platforms, full sales readiness) • Ensure optimal product presentation to drive sales and profitability through proper merchandising and visibility on online platforms and channels • Manage price competitiveness, assortment, and stock availability on a daily basis • Gain full category understanding (highly demanded products, average basket size, competitors, etc.) to maximize and ensure consistent growth of your sellers • Conduct regular analysis on market trends, traffic, conversion, sales and customer funnel to derive and share insights to guide promotional and marketing input • Conduct timely reviews with businesses and platforms to ensure all needs are being met while developing service improvements to maximize sales potential and satisfaction • Plan promotional campaigns and coordinate execution with the platforms • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues impacting businesses and platforms • Present analysis and recommendations to internal and external key stakeholders Requirements: • Minimum 1 year in E-commerce or retail related fields • Must be currently based in United Arab Emirates(UAE) • Strong analytical and numerical skills with a data-driven mindset • Intermediate MS Excel skills (e.g. Min. Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, etc.) and a good knowledge of MS PowerPoint • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both oral and written) • Ability to converse effectively in English with strong commercial & client-facing skills • Strong personality with good relationship management and negotiation skills to persuade and collaborate with diverse, multi-functional teams • Extremely structured, capable of successfully multitasking • Ability to prioritize, have a sense of urgency and attention to detail • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools Is a plus • Prior experience in E-commerce (online store set up, content creation, data analysis, usage of in platform tools) • Considerable amount of market/region knowledge • Can converse and write effectively in Arabic • Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills • Agility with web-based software applications and internally developed systems Benefits: • Remuneration: basic salary plus sales commission • Work together and learn from former E-commerce C-Levels (Lazada/Alibaba, Digikala) • Get challenged every day and profit from a steep learning curve • Be able to develop, implement and execute your own ideas
