My customer has a lot of users using Microsoft Exchange. He uses DAG (Database Avalability Groups) to provide High Availability. The problem that he has is that there are a huge quantity of space occupied for data of former employees impacting in his storage, backup, etc. By the other hand he needs that these data remains available for the company by law and regulatory needs. The idea is to extract the databases in the DAG to other cheaper storage and maintain there for several years. In few words, I need to extract some databases from DAG to other repository where he can access these databases and delete them form DAG. I'm looking for a procedure or development to do that or a tool that can provide this functionality.
