I have more than 20 years experience with Delphi and other programming languages/systems such as C++, C#. I made several visual components for VCL. I have experience to converting non-unicode code and components to new unicode Delphi versions. For example I converted the flashfiler rdbms written in the old Delphi to Tokyo in few days. I have both experience with the "old good" VCL framework and the new FireMonkey framework - I made some projects for FireMonkey including cross-platform apps which run on MacOs and mobile apps for IOS and Android.
