Fixing a web-based student management system

Mistake is, Click event create new content instead of assigning the teacher to another class. Its nothing but a logical mistake done by previous developer. it need to be done through 2 different ways. Drupal form must open with all the teacher name and when user will select teacher name then a new drop down will display all the assigned classes and also the all other classes, so that admin can remove or assign any class to the teacher. Drupal form will open the desired existing class with all the teacher name in dropdown and admin need to update the teacher as per need. But in both cases Drupal content type structure played a vital role, I need to check it first, then only I can tell you how we will going to solve this issue. Issue 2: Its sounds like "reminder for log" work is done by server cron. here have 2 ways to solve log service must be updated to specific time interval must more then the current one. possibly when teacher save the log but cron system is not updated(it will very rare case). Issue 3 : Its sound like present/absent field access mode is set false, that's why field is not display. Issue 4. I need to check the logic behind the process, it sounds like some backend logic is set for this because drupal have no such facilities.
