esp8266 with e-ink display 7.5" -one page design with data received by JSON objects

i need to develop a prototype for proof of concept with a esp8266 and a e-ink display 7.5".

for the first stage i will need one page where several symbol will be show depending of a rest API values.

esp8266 will send a request , always to the same end point, and will receive JSON objects with all required information to render the screen. i already have this rest API working but only for 3 symbols. the answer from the Rest APi will have information that allow to match the jpeg symbols, saved in the esp8266 memory, to be visible in the display and also will get strings that need to be show in the display. At this stage it is a simple project, we have more two stage where we will add features and some complexity.

The layout of the page is in attach. The rest API will be supply to the freelancer award.

Besides the design of the page i need the esp8266 to be programmed to be in deep sleep and wake up with a timer (pre defined in the code) and from a push button.
