GPS tracker with schematics ,PCB , Custom Firmware and Enclosure

Hi, I am a post graduate power electronics engineer and having very good industrial experience of 8+ years in R&D and project development. I am excellent high frequency transformers design, circuits design, multi-channel LED Drivers, Regulated power supplies design with universal input to DC output, Audio amplifier, drives design, Filters design for harmonic analysis and Power factor correction, SMPS, LED drivers, DC-DC, AC-DC converters design, PFC interleaved boost converter, Battery management system, Battery chargers, UPS design, sine wave Inverters, solar grid tie inverters, Solar battery chargers and street light systems design from few watts to KW range using Buck, Boost, and Buck –boost, Interleaved boost/buck, Fly back Push Pull and H-bridge inverters. I have work experience to design from few watts to KW range meeting all compliances like EMI/EMC and safety standards UL etc.

I have experience on digital electronics for 15 years and analog electronics for 25 years.. (power, radio, tv, player, etc) Including microprocessor programming on assembly language (GSM to PSTN Gateway firmware + hardware) and desktop application with visual basic or vb.net to use UI... I can understand C++ and write also .. i have experience on Arduino UNO with AT Mega 328.. So if i get a chance to work with this project it will be a very challenging job for me to make the device perfect to work ...

Hello, There are many details that will need to be finalized, and for production, many logistical issues and quantities need to be settled. You will also have to obtain certifications for the devices before proceeding to final production. The pre-production version should be used for the certifications, so this entire process could easily take 6 months to complete. As you want small size, these components cannot typically be hand-soldered, so they will have to be sent out for PCB assembly, and that is costly (about $500 per run). Since you also want finalized versions, the case will also have to be prototyped and produced, and if you want to make plastic molds for them, then the cost really jumps. We can try to find a case from commercial brands that suits the application and your taste and have them modified, which would probably be more cost effective to start. The quotation includes the production costs for two prototypes and pre-production modifications and the coordinating/testing of the pre-production run (50 units). Costs for that will have to be separate. Also documentation/consulting during the certification process is included, as are modifications to the design to correct issues identified during the certification process.
