I am excellent welding power supplies design, Plasma ARC power supplies, high frequency transformers design, solar grid tie transformers, electrical vehicles design, circuits design, multi-channel LED Drivers, Regulated power supplies design with universal input to DC output, Audio amplifier, drives design, Filters design for harmonic analysis and Power factor correction, SMPS, LED drivers, DC-DC, AC-DC converters design, PFC interleaved boost converter, Battery management system, Battery chargers, UPS design, sine wave Inverters, solar grid tie inverters, Solar battery chargers and street light systems design from few watts to KW range using Buck, Boost, and Buck –boost, Interleaved boost/buck, Fly back Push Pull and H-bridge inverters. I have very good experience to design high voltage power supplies up to 50KV for capacitor charging power supplies using soft switching topologies. I have work experience to design from few watts to KW range meeting all compliances like EMI/EMC and safety standards UL etc.

For starter no one calls them VVVF (variable voltage variable frequency) drives any more. Its simply because they are now so complex and vary so many parameters we simply call them VSD (variable speed drives). If you call them VVVF people will think you are very old school. Elevators are exceptionally hard to do because the dynamics are almost reversed when you flip from going up to going down. I strongly recommend that you avoid development of the system and focus on using an off the shelf solution. Lucky for people doing elevators there are a couple of specialized drive companies who do the work for you. A couple of years ago I was doing this sort of work for our mining industry and one of the suppliers pointed me towards a specialist drive manufacturer from Germany. The VSDs this company had were some of the most impressive automation products I have ever seen. They had state of the art fully certified safety - which is useful when you are lifting and lowering people. Just as importantly the internal software of the drive contained all the necessary parameters for the floors. In other words there is not a lot of need for complex external hardware the VSD does all of the raising and lowering and floor positioning.
