I have a Standalone software and database setup which I have been providing to my customers since 2011. It is delivered on a CD with all the elements for a client to search an excel database by user defined criteria and download the results to a file that can be used in Google Earth or Aussie explorer. The program includes the data (excel spreadsheet,) a search page with the criteria, the dotNEtFx40_full_x86_x64 and Windows installer 3_1, In the last few days a few of my clients that use the program have contacted me and said the interface doesn't work anymore the tabs are greyed out. I have asked the original developer to look at a standalone program with the same functionality to run on a Windows 10 PC whether it is 32 bit or 64 bit and it need to be standalone so it can be used on the clients pc . Unfortunately he cannot work on this for another month or so and I need get it sorted quicker. I can provide a download link to the whole current program in dropbox and I want a program developed that has the same functionality in Windows 10 that will be a standalone program that can be delivered to my clients – the delivery method will be by thumb drive if a client wants a copy or by download of all the program elements that will enable it to work on any Windows PC such as 7 8 10 32 or 64bit. I want someone who has a knowledge of .net, excel, databases, to download the program and (a) tell me what the problem and fix it or , (b) Develop a standalone program that can be used on clients PCs with the same functionality to run on a Windows 7 8 10 PC whether it is 32 bit or 64 bit.

Windows 7 has .NETFX 4.0, but 2.0. So in order it can be run on those 7,8, 8.1 and 10 your apps should be rebuilt using .NETFX 2.0. If you have the source code in .NETFX 4.0 this would be quick. As the problem seems to be with the operating system so may have to develop a new system using Winforms which is native to Windows and works on all windows paltforms Or fix the problem if found. Hi, Please share your project files and I already have .net setup files and windows installer 3.1(which is for Win XP/2003), so no need to include in your google drive. I can test with diff Windows version and create a portable App if required. About us: Micro-controllers we have worked on PIC, STM32, PSOC and AVR.
