Pull college basketball data using VBA

I’ll try to explain this the best I can. I want to setup 3 loops to pull data for college basketball games. I'm experienced in VBA but I'm having trouble creating a loop that does not error out after 15 games or so. There is some kind of security on the ncaa's site that prevents this type of data scraping I'm told. The workaround which has been mostly effective is to put in a wait for 5 seconds or so after each run in the loop. However, I’ve pulled the webpage using VBA code (like below), this appears to error out after a number of runs so I need some help w/ another method to pull this data. I think the best way to do this quickly is to use HTML tags which is something I'm unfamiliar with. For a given set of teams (which I will have) pull the box in the lower left corner of each teams page using the following link…The loop will have the general link [login to view URL] + the teams number which I will have already ex. 111066, 111067, etc. It will up to 120 games in one run [login to view URL] 2. From there I can generate a list of hyperlinks to boxscores. For the boxscores I need all of player data for the two teams involved in the game. The following hyperlink would be used [login to view URL] 3. Lastly I will need all of the play by play data for the game. This includes everything from the headings Time, Team1, Score, Team2 until you get to the bottom of the page [login to view URL] Here’s a couple of must haves • This needs to be done in VBA and the code needs to format the data into cells in excel • I need a description/walkthrough once this is done of how the code works. I need to be able to troubleshoot if something goes wrong • I need to be able to set a time trigger for the code • I need to verify on my machine that the code will function w/out error and fully run through each of the 3 steps above for up to 150 games • I just need the data, nothing else. Just exactly what is on the webpage in excel. Simple as that
