218155 Design work inc Logo and Flash

I need a highly skilled, artistic and experienced graphic designer. I am starting 3 associated jewellery businesses, and for each I require a logo as well as other associated design work, including Flash. These are all start-ups so sensible bids only please. This work is crucial to me in advance of organising fully functional ecommerce sites (which will be poster later as separate projects). Mutual trust is paramount. I have a lot of other graphic design work in the pipeline – for these and other businesses. The winner of this project therefore – if I am happy with the work and you prove your high quality abilities – may well benefit from good repeat business and a long term relationship. REQUIREMENTS. My requirements for each of the 3 businesses are as follows: 1. LOGO 2. An introductory FLASH PAGE to my website (yet to be built), incorporating and animating the logo. Sounds not required. (One of the businesses does not require an intro page). 3. A static BANNER incorporating our logo (also static) which will form the top of each page of my website. 4. MENU BUTTONS, which will run horizontally across the bottom of the banner. 5. A mock-up HTML PAGE – should be quite straightforward - which will show the desired design of my home page (including the above banner and menu, as well as a simple layout of some text and images which I'll supply, and a rotating image slideshow element). Important: to make things easier for both of us I have produced some accompanying NOTES, which I will PM to each interested candidate. These contain more specific details, preparatory conceptual work and examples. As the professional you are expected to build on this, and come up with new ideas. (I am flexible and open, but only if I deem suggestions to be an improvement). I hope what I am asking for is in fact relatively straightforward, in spite of my level of detail. On advice, I have tried at the outset to be as explanatory as possible, to help: you to be clear what I want, us to save time and hassle, and me to get what I want. Please read my notes as well and bid only if you can satisfy all of these requirements. Style: These designs will be going into jewellery sites, and so it is crucial that they reflect the high style, beauty and quality of the product; and the mature, honest, established professionalism of the companies' image. Clean and simple elegance often works best. It needs to look totally professional, distinctive and eye-catching for my business. You must not use Google and search engines to come up with images then cobble something together. No Clipart, Pre-made logos, or Stock art. Nothing cartoonish. You must design your own unique, original logos, using professional freehand software, preferably Adobe products like Photoshop and Illustrator. You must also have access to a full range of fonts. The Flash must be simple yet stunning. Also, although I have described the html pages required as ‘mock-ups' in the sense that links do not have to function, these too must exhibit the same style and have an excellent finish. They will form my concept design basis to move on to the next stage (me finding a designer-programmer to build fully functioning ecommerce sites with various tools). Formats: Original work: You must supply me with all the design work in all formats that you have worked in. For example, if you have designed in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop, I want to be sent the original unflattened .AI .INDD and .PSD source files with all their original layers. Therefore it will be easy for me to alter should I ever want to. This applies to the Flash (FLA), html and all other relevant design work too. You will also of course provide information on any fonts used. Final formats: You will of course also supply the files in all final formats appropriate for any web or print use (e.g. TIFF, GIF, JPEG, EPS, SWF, html, etc). You must therefore be aware of high resolution Print Media as well as Web/Broadcast Media. Basically I require any formats I might need for commercial purposes. Copyright & Disclosure: After payment I will hold exclusive and complete copyrights to all the work done for me. The selected bidder must also not use my work in his/her public portfolio without my permission. Communication: You must have excellent communication. Once the winner has been selected and the project is underway, I will be happily available for checking anything with me. You will regularly show me how work is progressing, and give me opportunities for further input. The selected Bidder will come up with various initial designs, and allow for unlimited revisions in order to get what I want before the project is considered completed. Upon completion, and delivery of the files in formats as described above, final payment will be immediately released. Payment: Once the right bidder is selected, 100% of the money will be escrowed, waiting for release upon successful completion of the project. Now: I will promptly PM my explanatory notes with more specific details to each interested party, then please let me know if you need any further clarification. Please provide a realistic timescale with your bid for you to successfully complete this project. Please show me relevant samples (not ‘000s) from your portfolio of work – you must have the relevant experience required. You must be an experienced professional, not a novice. At the close of bidding your bid and taking on this project represents your understanding and acceptance of all the project details and terms (inc. the notes that I PM you).
