Hi - my wife and I are UK based and have been writing and publishing books in the financial market, and we are now moving to fiction which is a new venture for us, and a market where we propose to write some books ourselelves and to have others ghost written, which is what we are looking for as a start. This would then allow us to publish more regularly.
We are looking for a ghostwriter to write contemporary romance novels of between 50,000 and 75,000 words approximately. Writers must be experienced and able to create compelling cliffhangers and emotional scenes with a happy ending, and willing to edit and proofread the work as well as provide input for titles. The writers name will not appear on any final work as all rights and royalties will pass to us on completion and you will be required to sign an agreement to this effect prior to starting work. All work is to be checked using Grammarly for plagarism. This is the first of several projects, and I would be grateful if you could provide some samples of your work in this genre.
Having written ourselves we understand the time and effort required, so please can you provide some guide prices for a novella of around 50,000 words and a novel between 75,000 - 80,000. We may provide some with an outline, and others where perhaps it might be just an idea to develop. If you could send some samples of your work that would be perfect - also the approximate turnaround times, but this is not a major factor in any decision. The quality of writing is the most important.
