Initially my Aim is to start this business in one of the 2nd tier city in India and later to extend in many other cities. I Need a very good business Plan since presently there are many similar portals are available in India. So this will be a risky start up.

Few Working concept of the web service, in the portal the end-user logs on to this site and chooses from a variety of restaurants, chooses from the menu and places the order. Each restaurant has control over their menu and can update it whenever necessary. The restaurant can generate daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports. The restaurant should have access to many features on the portal.

I am focusing in using Latest Technologies to integrate in to the portal; some of the examples are,

As soon as customer logs in, system will pull their last order if existed and will offer the option to order same as last order. System will offer coupons available chain wide or storewide to save money and suggest extras for upselling. This needs to be presented in a sequence and if graphically would be great. example...when they are choosing topping suggest them extra topping...when they finish pizza order suggest them salads, side orders, drinks, extra sauce one by one in pop up.

One Click Ordering - orders placed after user login will be saved in database, for placing a similar order user can retrieve the previous order and just click submit to place and order again.

Technology for placing food order (Web portal to Restaurant connections)

Food Portal should be the solution to bring together all the restaurants in one place. With this food portal can able to connect hundreds of restaurants on one site. Using latest technology similar to JustConnect technology this is using SMS/GPRS Printers for two way communications from web portal to each individual restaurants, as The SMS printers can receive and send information simultaneously, so when the takeaway users accept/reject the order, the confirmation is sent back to the webpage directly from the printer in the same instant. Along with this I also want SMS and emails as two way communications with the restaurants. these three options should be separate and I could choose anyone or all of them as a means to inform restaurants.

The order may be for pickup and delivery.

As soon as order is complete consumer will get a copy of the order emailed to them. Once the order is ready or has been dispatched for delivery the customer will get a SMS that order has left the restaurant.
