Build a News Website

Hello everyone. I want to hire a freelancer whom is an expert at building websites in order to have a dream project of mine realized. I want to have a news website built, and it is important that the end result becomes like I want it to be. Key features: * Medium size header which will include logo. * All different category pages in one line under the header. * The front page has to have space for the last 50 articles from all categories. * There must be pre-installed article templates which lets an editor choose the size of the article which is shown on the front page, or inside the category page. This has to be done in order to avoid things going "out of proportions" on the front page when a user views it. The articles themselves can be done using only a handful of different templates depending on what kind of content is being posted. * All article templates must include the ability to create a "fact box", where key facts about a case can be written (in a colored box) for easy overview for the user. * A video player must be included, which will be used inside articles. * Space for a multitude of ads of different sizes has to be incorporated into all pages. * Slideshows which can be incorporated into articles must be installed, which should also be able to be full screened at the users leisure. * A user friendly administrator part has to be created so even dumb people can use it. There is to be no gimmicks inside it, and everything has to be easy to use. Its okay to use for example Joomla for this thing, but then the whole admin has to be skinned towards making it easy to use, as Joomla is not that user friendly for computer dumb people. The look and feel of these sites makes them ideal to be used elsewhere, and I want it made professionally and to the letter of what I want. There are so many other features that has to be included in this project, but I am not going to put everything in here. Parties that I deem interesting will get the full prospect to look over, and to see if this is something they can do. NOTE: If you at ANY point don't think you can do this project, please do not bid on it. It is vitally important that the ones bidding actually can make this into the project I am intending. It would be a shame to have someone being awarded the project, only for it to be cancelled months from now because we find out that person(s) cant do it. So make sure this is something you CAN do before bidding. NOTE II: The entire bid amount of the winning bid will be placed in Escrow as soon as the project is awarded. There will be NO advances here, so if you are accustomed to that, go somewhere else. Under NO circumstances will advance payments be made. And no, we do not release at intervals of 25%, etc. We pay for a COMPLETE website. When the project is COMPLETE, the entire amount will be released. Please respect this.
