Creative Party are looking for an experienced freelance graphic designer to work on a part time basis both in house, and on a remote basis where necessary. You will be working on all creative elements for the business.
The role includes the full design and preparation for print of the annual product catalogues, which requires full time commitment from November to early January.
Responsibilities
• Emphasis on the development and formalisation of brand guidelines for two company brands, Creative Party, and Anniversary House
• Product and Packaging design– Paper Partyware and Cake Decorations for company and national account base
• Preparing Presentations
• Photography and Image editing
• Adverts - print and digital editions
• Product Brochures - print and digital editions
• Flyers - print and digital editions
• Trade show graphics and creative show support
• Graphic design support for company websites
• Company Stationary
Person Specification
Essential
• Keen eye for detail with a meticulous approach
• Excellent organisation and filing skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
• A creative thinker who solves problems and can work to limited briefs
• Excellent knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience of product and packaging design
• Experience of preparing artwork for print
• Ability to work to strict guidelines for licenced properties
Desired
• Experience of product design in the party or paper product industry
