We have an application that uses Pentaho for visualization & Hive as the back-end database. We are, for some unidentified reason, unable to connect and fire queries from the Pentaho Dashboard to the Hive DB. You will be given remote access to our Development environment and resolve the issue there. You will document the fix in sufficient detail for our engineers to reproduce the fix in the Production environment.
