Editorial Designing- eBook & Print Book Formatting & Layout Designing required in Adobe Indesign

We are a medium-sized publishing house based in India and we often require freelancers when our in-house team is unable to meet the demands. This post is regarding a ready book manuscript (in English) that has to be formatted (including assigning headings & sub headings, indent, justification, header, footer, page numbers etc.) along with layout designing in MS Word for the eBook versions and Adobe Indesign for the print version in the sizes that we will prescribe. Reflowable Kindle Create file for Kindle eBook version is also required. The book has to be formatted and set both in MS Word and Adobe Indesign and the freelancer will be required to submit three files or versions that is- MS Word file, Kindle Create (reflowable) file and the Adobe InDesign Raw file. Any other software/ application format or version will not be permitted. The print book version can be multi-column according to our requirement and the creativity of the freelancer. But the MS Word and Kindle eBook versions have to be creative but always in single column as these will be used to create reflowable eBooks. The MS Word file will be used by us later to create other reflowable eBook versions like Google Play Book, our own eBook etc. This book does not contain high level of graphics. Cover page designing is not required. The first book is of 36000 words and our offer is USD 25. The workable size would be 8.5 inches by 5.5 inches. Applicants must include the words "Creative Shadows" in the headline of their proposal. ........................................................................................................... Applicants must possess excellent creativity and Adobe Indesign skills in book layout designing and formatting. Further, applicants with incomplete profile and applicants who do not have samples of previous work or at least demo work in their profile or proposal will not be selected. Rate offered is not negotiable. Selected candidates will have to sign a confidentiality agreement. After completion, both MS Word file and Adobe InDesign Raw file will be required by us.
