I need some help with internet marketing. We are in the market for someone who can potentially run our Facebook/Social Media advertising as well as our Google Adwords. We'd love to have a chat about what you might be able to offer and did have a few [login to view URL] is: [login to view URL]
We are a travel/tour company that runs trips for high school students (3 weeks), college students (6-8 weeks) and adults (10 days) with a focus on community service and athletics or active travel. We currently go to two locations: Peru and Kenya but would consider expanding in the future if we are able to find more clients. Our biggest issue currently is that we have a product that people like very much but we simply aren't reaching enough people or getting enough people to sign up for our programs. We currently have approx 72 spots available to fill for summer of 2018 (some of these are already filled) but in the past 3 years we've averaged around 30-40 total participants. We'd really like to see those numbers grow by about 20-25 sign-ups which would get us around a total of 60-65 this summer. Obviously, we'd take more than that and we are able to expand our programs and run more but likely not for 2017. We worked with a company for about six months and they did a very, very poor job. They were unable to produce any measurable results, when asked for metrics none were delivered and, honestly, we aren't really sure how much work they were doing at all. I wouldn't be surprised if they were working less than 2 hours per month on our accounts and charging a significant amount of money. The good news is that we aren't working with them anymore and we've learned a lot about what we need/want from a company. We'd ideally be looking at a spend in the $250 - 1000/month range for these services (not including the advertising dollars which would be on top of that monthly management fee) So, a few questions which I would be happy to discuss in a call as well.
1) Do you have any experience working with companies in our industry or do you feel like you have enough knowledge about our industry and market to successfully put together campaigns and understand the demographics and clients and how to market to them? 2) Do you have any examples of both current and past work that you've done with clients? I'd love to see some examples of some campaigns you've led in the past, what the ads look like, and also some results. You can obviously remove any information from the reports but I'd really like to see how you deliver results/metrics as that is not something we were getting in the past. 3) What is your process for reporting/communicating? How often will we be discussing the accounts and strategies and how quickly can we expect a response if we have a question? This was another fairly large issue with our last company and it could be between 3 days to 7 days before we were getting a response to an email. 4) Who will we be dealing with? Will you be the one in charge of our account or will we working with a team etc? 5) Regarding, number 2 what tools to you use to measure results/ROI/etc? 6) Would you be able to share an idea or two about how you might market our company or a social media campaign that would work for us?
