Radio Journalist for Community Spotlight Segments

We're looking for freelance radio journalists / hosts to conduct telephone interviews that will be aired as part of our community spotlight segments. These interviews run 5 to 10 minutes and feature a member of our community talking about their upcoming event, project or their latest accomplishment. Our successful freelancers will be provided the contact information and background of their segments. They will identify themselves as part of our group of radio stations while conducting the interviews. And, they will provide completed interviews to our stations. As a group of five stations with over 100,000 listeners we offer a great way to earn extra money in your time off. Applicants need to have a mid-American / Canadian accent and should be proficient in telephone interviews and the technology to record and edit them as needed. While we've posted this as a "simple project" it is our intention to build our pool of talent and continue to use the services of the best applicants. We expect that you can produce a five to ten minute interview in 30 minutes.
