Seeking help from a Dynamics 365 CRM specialist, to create a simple/common plug-in java and corresponding workflow, which completes search-get-update function. Please contact me if you are the right fit. Below is an example for easy understanding of this common function: 1. Workflow calls plug-in. 2. Plug-in searches for a matching value from 'Partner address (Lead)' in 'Partner address (Groups)', and gets 'User 1 (Groups)' and 'User 2 (Groups)' from matching record. 3. Workflow updates 'User 1 (Groups)' > 'Assigner 1 (Groups)' + 'User 2 (Groups)' > 'Assigner 2 (Lead)'.

Hi there, Greetings of the day! So, if I understand your requirement correctly - you need a Worflow + Workflow Activity configured so that the worflow activity will search for a Partner Address (as in Lead), within Partner Address (as in Groups), and for the matching records get the User 1 (as in Groups) and User 2 (as in Groups). For a match found, the Assigner 1 (as in Groups), and Assigner 2 (as in Groups) from both User 1 (as in Groups) and User 2 (as in Groups) should be updated. Please help to let me know if my understanding is correct. Questions: 1. Partner Address (from Lead) to Partner Address (in Groups) - are these address fields; are the addresses to be matched? Please clarify the search criteria. 2. For the matching record, Assigner 1 and Assigner 2 should be updated - are these User / Team type field - what value should be assigned to these?
